On May 12, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced in the Federal Register a correction to the preliminary results of its antidumping duty (AD) administrative review for certain ball bearings and parts from France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the UK, which were announced on April 28.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, as a result of its administrative review covering May 1, 2008, through April 30, 2009, the DOC had preliminarily determined that sales were made below normal value by certain companies subject to these reviews, announcing AD margins for the respondents.

The DOC said that the margin for French respondent Microturbo SAS 6 should read 6.86 percent instead of 0.86 percent.
