On September 28, 2005, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products imported from South Korea. The period of review was August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005.

In the final results dated March 20, 2007, the DOC determined that the final weighted-average dumping margins existing for the period August 1, 2004, through July 31, 2005 were as follows:

Producer

Margin

Dongbu

2.07%

Hysco

0.09% (de minimis)

POSCO Group

0.35% (de minimis)

Union Steel

1.45%

However, following these final results, US Steel submitted comments alleging a ministerial error with respect to the margin set for Union Steel, and requested that the DOC correct this alleged ministerial error. After analyzing US Steel's comments, the DOC has agreed that it made a ministerial error. Therefore, the DOC has decided to amend the final results of this review. As a result of the correction in the margin calculation, the margin set for Union Steel has been increased from 1.45 percent to 1.46 percent. The margins remain the same for the remaining respondents.
