US exports of cold rolled sheet totaled 50,938 mt in February, up 4.3 percent from January but down 10.2 percent from February 2016 levels. By value, CRC exports totaled $53.3 million in February, compared to $50.4 million in the previous month and $51.4 million the same month last year.
The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in February, with 27,379 mt, compared to 28,738 mt in January and 29,982 mt in February 2016. Other top destinations included Canada, with 21,639 mt. There were no other notable (over 1,000 mt) destinations for US CRC exports in February.
