US CRC exports down 2.8 percent in June

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of cold rolled sheet totaled 67,517 mt in June 2023, down 2.8 percent from May but up 38.6 percent from June 2022. By value, CRC exports totaled $83.1 million in June, compared to $85.3 million in the previous month and $65.4 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most CRC to Mexico in June with 49,895 mt, compared to 53,039 mt in May and 31,053 mt in June 2022. Other top destinations included Canada, with 17,081 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US CRC exports in June.
