According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 0.9 percentage points year on year to 10.7 percent in July this year, also rising by 0.5 percentage points from the 10.2 percent recorded in June.
Meanwhile, in July the employment rate in Turkey recorded at 47 percent, decreasing by 0.2 percentage points compared to the same month of the previous year.
