Unemployment in Turkey falls to 11.7% in March compared to February

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey increased by 1.8 percentage points year on year to 11.7 percent in March this year, decreasing by 0.9 percentage points compared to the 12.6 percent recorded in February.
 
Meanwhile, in March the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 46.1 percent, remaining stable compared to the same month of the previous year.
