Ukrainian ferroalloy output declines by 11.2 percent in January-June

According to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA), in the January-June period this year Ukraine's ferroalloy production decreased by 11.2 percent compared to the same period last year to 474,800 mt.
 
Accordingly, during the first six months of this year, Ukraine's silicomanganese output decreased by 0.3 percent to 384,700 mt, its ferromanganese production went down by 24.3 percent to 40,400 mt, and its ferrosilicon output decreased by 53.4 percent to 44,400 mt, all year on year.
 
Specifically, in the January-June period this year, the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant produced 311,000 mt of silicomanganese and 10,200 mt of ferromanganese, while another Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Zaporozhye Ferro Alloys Plant produced 73,700 mt of silicomanganese, 30,200 mt of ferromanganese, 44,400 mt of ferrosilicon.
 
UkrFA noted that Stakhanov Ferroalloy Plant is not currently operating due to military activity in the region.
