Ukrainian semi-finished steel exports and imports decrease in Jan-May

According to the data issued by Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers, in the January-May period of the current year Ukrainian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 7.8 percent year on year to 4.409 million mt.

Meanwhile, exports of semi-finished steel products from Ukraine increased by 32.3 percent in May compared to April, rising to 1.187 million mt.

On the other hand, in the January-May period of the current year Ukrainian imports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 10.9 percent year on year to 179,940 mt.

In May alone, imports of semi-finished steel products to Ukraine decreased by 29.4 percent compared to April, falling to 24,900 mt.
