Ukrainian seamless steel casing and tubing import quota utilization

According to the information issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, from October 1 to December 1, 2010 Russia and other countries utilized 81.9 percent of the new annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless steel casing and tubing imports with outside diameter up to 406.4 mm, supplying a total of around 13,065 mt.

The total quota for the period starting from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011 stands at 15,955 mt of seamless steel casing and tubing imports - up 725 mt compared to the previous annual quota, of which 86.23 percent was utilized.
