Ukrainian producers see pipe output rise 16 percent in January-May

In January-May of the current year, Ukrainian companies produced 917,100 mt of steel pipes, up 16 percent compared to the same period last year. In May alone, Ukraine's steel pipe production declined by five percent compared to April, falling to 176,700 mt.

In 2010, Ukrainian pipe companies had increased their production by 10.7 percent year on year to 1.754 million mt.
