Ukrainian ferroalloy output up 41.4 percent in January

In January this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production increased by 41.4 percent compared to the same month last year to 83,000 mt, according to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

In the given month, Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 29 percent to 62,300 mt, while its ferromanganese production went up by 8.5 percent to 7,700 mt, both year on year.

Meanwhile, in the first month of this year the largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant's ferroalloy output decreased by 33.5 percent year on year to 35,300 mt, including 32,100 mt of silicomanganese and 3,200 mt of ferromanganese.
