Ukrainian ferroalloy output increases by 43 percent in Q1

In the first quarter this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy production increased by 43 percent compared to the same period last year to 260,000 mt, according to the Association of Ukrainian Ferroalloy Producers (UkrFA).

Accordingly, in the given period Ukraine's silicomanganese output increased by 32.5 percent to 190,500 mt, its ferromanganese production went up by 20.6 percent to 25,200 mt, while its ferrosilicon output increased by 2.7 times to 44,300 mt, all compared to January-March 2013.
