Ukraine’s ferrous meal exports down 41 percent in January-July

In the January-July period this year, Ukraine exported $5.62 billion worth of ferrous metals, down 41 percent year on year, according to the data released by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.
 
In July alone, revenues from ferrous metal exports totaled $768.153 million, while in June the figure had amounted to $689.094 million.
 
Meanwhile, in the January-July period of the current year Ukraine’s imports of ferrous metal products decreased by 49.5 percent year on year to $389.19 million, including $73.34 million in July.
