Ukraine’s steel pipe exports up 34.5 percent in January-November

According to the official data for the first 11 months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 34.5 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe exports to 1.516 million mt, worth a total of $1.883 billion. In November alone, Ukraine's steel pipe exports rose by 12.2 percent compared to October, rising to 147,930 mt, worth a total of $187.12 million.

On the other hand, in the January-November period Ukrainian imports of steel pipes increased by 39 percent year on year to 74,000 mt, worth a total of $138.44 million. In November alone, imports of steel pipes to Ukraine increased by 3.3 percent month on month to 5,900 mt, worth a total of $13.07 million.
