Ukraine’s semis exports increase by 29 percent in September over August

In September this year, Ukraine's semi-finished steel product exports increased by 29.1 percent compared to August and by 4.2 percent compared to September 2009, to 942,290 mt, valued at $453.3 million, up 29.8 percent month on month.

Ukraine's main semi-finished steel product export destinations in September were Italy (256,630 mt), Lebanon (150,460 mt), Turkey (71,030 mt), Thailand (69,650 mt), South Korea (56,640 mt), and Egypt (47,540 mt).

In January-September this year, Ukraine's semi-finished steel product exports decreased by 0.6 percent year on year to 8.632 million mt, valued at about $3.95 billion.
