Ukraine’s scrap exports down 25.8 percent in November over October

In November, Ukrainian exports of scrap decreased by 25.8 percent month on month to 96,400 mt, amounting to a value of $24.16 million, Ukrainian News Agency has reported.

Compared with November 2008, the country's scrap exports in November this year increased by 78,730 mt, i.e., by 5.5 times.  During the first eleven months of 2009, Ukraine increased its scrap exports by 37.6 percent year on year to 823,210 mt.
