Ukraine’s scrap exports decrease by eight percent in May

In May this year, Ukraine saw an eight percent decrease month on month in its ferrous scrap exports to 113,770 mt, which, however, was up 92.7 percent compared to the same month last year. Meanwhile, the value of scrap export sales in May was down by 4.1 compared to April, declining to $39.99 million.

In January-May this year, Ukraine's scrap exports increased by 68.6 percent year on year to 331,750 mt, valued at $108.64 million.
