Ukraine’s rolled steel production down eight percent in Q1

In the first quarter of this year, rolled steel production in Ukraine declined by eight percent year on year to 6.727 million mt, according to the Ukrainian association of metal producers Metallurgprom.

In addition, in the given period, Ukraine produced 7.040 million mt of cast iron, down three percent, and 7.525 million mt of steel, down nine percent, both year on year.
