Ukraine’s Poltava GOK delivers first batch of pellets to Japan

Poltava GOK, the main iron ore subsidiary of Swiss-headquartered Ferrexpo whose main interests are in Ukrainian iron ore assets, has delivered its first trial batch of pellets, totaling 70,000 mt, to Japan, Poltava GOK's chief operating officer Victor Lotous has stated.

"We hope to win their market. So far we have shipped the first batch of 70,000 mt of pellets. We hope for success," Mr. Lotous commented.

Poltava GOK is one of the largest producers and exporters of iron ore pellets in Ukraine. It supplies upgraded iron ore pellets in two grades: 62 percent Fe and 65 percent Fe.
