Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe has announced that its Niko Tube plant has shipped a batch of 850 mt of casing and pump-compressor pipes with premium UPJ-M threaded connections to Iraq for the first time.

“Our first delivery of oil and gas pipes with premium threads to Iraq is a significant achievement of the company in this region. Despite the war, our strategic goal remains the same: to become the largest supplier of premium OCTG tubing in the Middle East. The peculiarity of this tender was the strict requirement for gas tightness,” stated Artem Artemov, director of sales of Interpipe pipes for the markets of the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
