Ukraine's coke production fell 13.1 percent year on year to 2.98 million metric tons in the first two months of the year due to the weak demand from local steel mills, said the Ukrainian coke association Ukrkoks. In February alone, coke production amounted to 1.4 million metric tons. Demand for coke is expected to pick up in the middle of March.
