Ukraine’s coal mining output up 0.5 percent in H1

In the first half of the current year, Ukraine's coal mining output decreased by 0.5 percent year on year to 40.577 million mt, according to Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.

In the meantime, in the first six months of this year Ukrainian state-owned mines produced 12.392 million mt, up 10.9 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in June alone Ukraine's coal mining production amounted to 6.136 million mt. This volume included 1.937 million mt of coal produced by Ukrainian state-owned mines, up 2.7 percent year on year.
