Ukraine’s coal mining output down 0.4 percent in Jan-Apr

According to Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, in the January-April period of the current year, Ukraine's coal mining output decreased by 0.4 percent year on year to 27.868 million mt.

Meanwhile, in April alone Ukraine's coal mining production amounted to 6.778 million mt, down 1.2 percent compared to April 2013. This volume includes 1.682 million mt of coking coal and 5.096 million mt of thermal coal.
