The Ministry of Coal Industry of Ukraine together with Ukrainian Custom Service are looking into imports of coking coal of the country to determine whether or not the limitation of some brand of coking coal imported to Ukraine would be efficient, said Sergey Tulup, Minister of Coal Industry. The analysis is directed to determine which brands of imported coking coal, which are also produced in Ukraine, need to be limited to protect domestic producers. The possible limitations may affect imports of coking coal from Russia, Kazakhstan and Poland.
