Ukraine posts increased steel pipe imports and exports in Q1

According to the data for the first quarter of the current year, Ukraine's steel pipe exports increased by 89.5 percent year on year to 453,340 mt, worth a total of $533.12 million. In March alone, Ukraine's steel pipe exports rose by 16.5 percent compared to February, reaching 154,790 mt.

In the first three months of 2011, Ukraine registered a 64.4 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe imports to 21,800 mt, worth $33.93 million. In March alone, Ukraine's steel pipe imports increased by 28.1 percent compared to February, rising to 6,610 mt.
