Ukraine issues January-September ferroalloy import and export data

In January-September this year, Ukraine's imports of ferroalloys decreased by 20.7 percent year on year to 76,070 mt, while its exports went up by 65.4 percent year on year to 826,270 mt.

In September this year, Ukraine's ferroalloy imports decreased by 46.6 percent month on month and by 45.4 percent year on year to 4,700 mt. Specifically, in September Ukraine's ferrosilicomanganese imports decreased by 53.2 percent to 2,230 mt, its ferromanganese imports increased by 6.4 percent to 500 mt, while its ferrosilicon imports went down by 72.8 percent to 460 mt, all compared to August.
 
Meanwhile, during the month in question, Ukraine's ferroalloy exports dropped by 13.3 percent month on month and by 30.2 percent year on year to 64,720 mt, including 44,050 mt of ferrosilicomanganese - down 12.8 percent, 4,240 mt of ferromanganese - down 42.8 percent, and 9,680 mt of ferrosilicon - up 115 percent, all compared to August.
