On January 29, 2007, the Ukrainian Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade completed its antidumping (AD) investigations into imports of iron ore concentrate from Russia. The investigations were originally initiated on January 31, 2006 at the request of the Ukrainian iron ore producer InGOK. The commission has determined that during 2005 Russia did not export iron ore concentrate to Ukraine at dumping price levels, and that therefore it did not cause damages to the domestic producers. Consequently, the commission took a decision not to introduce any AD measures against imports of iron ore concentrate from Russia.
