Ukraine-based Interpipe posts higher net profit in H1

Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe has announced its financial and operational results for the first half of this year.

In the first half, Interpipe posted a net profit of $122.43 million compared to $19.53 million recorded in the same period of last year, while its total sales revenues rose by 12.3 percent year on year to $518.38 million. The company’s operating profit in the given period was $178.29 million, increasing by 167.8 percent from $66.57 million recorded in the first half of 2022.

On the other hand, Interpipe’s pipe production in the second quarter of this year remained unchanged at 105,000 mt compared to the first quarter, while its railway products production increased by 35 percent quarter on quarter to 27,000 mt. In the first half, the company’s pipe production totaled 209,000 mt, rising by two percent year on year, while its railway products production amounted to 47,000 mt compared to 40,000 mt recorded in the same period of last year.
