UK basic metal output index up 3.4 percent in Nov

According to a report released by the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS), in November 2012 the UK's seasonally adjusted production index of manufacturing fell by 2.1 percent compared with November 2011 and was down by 0.3 percent compared to the previous month, following a month-on-month decrease of 1.3 percent recorded in October 2012.

Meanwhile, in the UK the seasonally adjusted production index of basic metal and metal products rose by 3.4 percent in November last year compared to November 2011 and was down 2.7 percent compared to the previous month, following a revised month-on-month fall of 0.5 percent in October.
