Turkish metal producers' sales prices down 3% in November from October

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in November this year the domestic producer price index (PPI) for Turkish industry in general decreased by 0.97 percent from October and was up 8.36 percent year on year, while an average rise of 10.32 percent was registered for the latest 12 months.
 
In November this year, the domestic PPI for Turkey's basic metal industry decreased by 2.99 percent on month-on-month basis and was up 3.25 percent compared to November 2013. Meanwhile, the average increase in the domestic PPI for the latest 12 months was 10.02 percent.
On the other hand, in November of the current year the domestic PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products, except machinery, decreased by 1.09 percent as compared to October and was up 7.01 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the sector in question, an average increase of 11.78 percent in the PPI index was registered for the latest 12 months.
