Turkish metal producers' foreign sales prices up 7.06% in Dec from Nov

According to the figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in December last year Turkish producers' foreign sales price index (PPI)* in general increased 5.21 percent from November and was up 17.73 percent year on year, while an average rise of 6.68 percent was registered for the latest 12 months.
 
In December last year, the foreign sales prices of producers in the Turkish domestic basic metal industry grew by 7.06 percent on month-on-month basis and were up 29.74 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Meanwhile, the average increase in prices in the latest 12 months was 7.9 percent.
 
On the other hand, in December of last year Turkish producers' foreign sales prices for domestic manufactured metal products, except machinery, increased by 4.43 percent compared to November and were up 9.65 percent year on year. Meanwhile, the average increase in prices in the latest 12 months was 4.06 percent.
