The Turkish Steel Producers Association (TCUD) has announced that Thailand has calculated final dumping margins of 6.88 percent and 38.23 percent for Turkey in its antidumping (AD) duty investigation against hot rolled coil (HRC) imports from Turkey, Brazil and Iran. According to the TCUD’s statement, the investigation, which is expected to be completed in the coming months, involves many unfair practices and objections made by Turkey were not accepted.

The TCUD stated that the unfair investigation by Thailand should be taken to the World Trade Organization (WTO) and that Turkey’s Ministry of Economy should increase its supports for Turkish steelmakers.
