Turkey’s rebar exports decrease by 54.4 percent in January-June

In June this year, Turkey’s rebar exports amounted to 304,493 metric tons, up by 48.3 percent compared to May and down by 34.5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $197.44 million, rising by 43.2 percent compared to May and declining by 49.8 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the January-June period of this year, Turkey’s rebar exports amounted to 1.40 million metric tons, down by 54.4 percent compared to the same period last year, while the revenue generated by these exports totaled $944.11 million, falling by 60.3 percent year on year.
