Turkey’s March industrial production index up 0.9 percent over February

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜIK), in March this year Turkey's monthly calendar adjusted industrial production index increased by 17.8 percent year on year, while the seasonal and calendar adjusted industrial production index rose by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month.
 
In March, the index for the manufacture of basic metals increased by 16.83 percent year on year and was up 25.82 percent over February, while the index for the manufacture of fabricated metal products rose by 30.58 percent year on year and was up 16.23 percent compared to the previous month.
