Turkey’s HRC exports down 66.5 percent in January

According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in January this year Turkey's hot rolled coil (HRC) exports decreased by 66.5 percent year on year to 45,129 metric tons, down 32.1 percent compared to the previous month. The revenue from these exports amounted to $30.76 million, down 30.5 percent month on month and decreasing by 74.7 percent compared to the same month of 2022.

In January, Turkey's largest HRC export destination was Greece which received 10,175 metric tons. Greece was followed by Macedonia with 10,047 metric tons and Albania with 4,440 metric tons.
