Turkey’s ferroalloy imports down 44.2 percent in October over September

According to the customs statistics compiled by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year Turkey imported 17,800 metric tons of ferroalloys, decreasing its imports of the products in question by 44.2 percent compared to September.

In October, of the various ferroalloys, the country's ferromanganese imports declined by 84.38 percent reaching 939 metric tons, ferrosilicon imports totaled 4,046 metric tons, decreasing by 44.33 percent, while ferrosilicomanganese imports amounted to 11,712 metric tons, down 34.77 percent, all compared to September.
