Turkey’s CRC imports increase by 25.3 percent in January-March

In March this year, Turkey’s cold rolled coil (CRC) imports amounted to 74,698 metric tons, up 42.8 percent compared to February and increasing by 27.1 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue of these imports totaled $57.1 million, increasing by 30.2 percent compared to February and down 1.7 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in January-March period of this year, Turkey’s CRC imports amounted to 201,184 metric tons, up 25.3 percent compared to the January-March period of last year, while the revenue of these imports totaled $152.6 million, decreasing by 8.3 percent year on year.
