Turkey's basic metals turnover up 2.4 percent in Feb from Jan

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TUIK), Turkey's monthly industrial turnover index in February this year decreased by 0.6 percent year on year and increased by 3.7 percent month on month, following the 5.6 percent year-on-year decrease recorded in January.
 
In February this year, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey decreased by 8.3 percent year on year and registered a 2.4 percent increase from the previous month. In February, the industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing, except machinery and equipment, in Turkey declined by 5.7 percent year on year and was up 3.1 percent from the previous month.
