Turkey’s basic metal turnover up 14.9 percent in June from May

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in May this year Turkey’s monthly industrial turnover index rose by 10.7 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up by 42.5 percent compared to June 2022.

In the given month, the industrial turnover index for the manufacture of basic metals in Turkey grew by 14.9 percent month on month and increased by 13.6 percent year on year.

The industrial turnover index for fabricated metal product manufacturing in June this year moved up by 6.1 percent month on month and by 56.3 percent year on year.
