According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year
Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial
production decreased by 1.8 percent compared to September, while the calendar adjusted index was up 2.4 percent compared to October 2013.
In October, the index for the
production of basic metals in
Turkey decreased by 5.3 percent month on month and declined by six percent compared to October 2013.
The index for the
production of fabricated metal products in October decreased by 4.7 percent month on month but was down by 6.6 year on year.
