Turkey’s Asil Celik to open representative office in Germany

On August 25, newly appointed CEO of Turkish specialty steel producer Asil Celik San. ve Tic. A.S. (Asil Celik) Dr. Osman Kılavuz, former CEO of Turkish long steel producer Kardemir, told SteelOrbis that Asil Celik is expanding in the western European market with a new office in Germany, namely Asil Celik Deutschland GmbH.
The German headquarters, which is a fully-owned subsidiary of Asil Celik, will be located in Hilden in close proximity to Duesseldorf and will commence business on October 1, 2010.
Asil Celik Deutschland GmbH will be covering all of Asil Celik's commercial activities in Germany and neighboring countries. The subsidiary will be led by managing director Hans Hotze.
