Turkey-based Oner Group to start iron ore production

Turkey-based Oner Group has received approval from Turkey’s Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs and will start iron ore production in the current month, according to the Turkish daily Dunya.
 
Oner Armagan, Oner Group’s chairman, stated that they will produce 150,000 mt of iron ore by the end of this year and that they will export their first iron ore shipments in the current year. The company has invested TRY 2 million ($567,103) in the iron ore project, according to Dunya, while China will be the primary export market of the company.
