Turkey-based MMK Metalurji, a subsidiary of Russian steelmaker MMK, has announced that during the first nine months of the current year its domestic galvanized steel sheet sales increased by 33 percent, while its domestic color coated steel sheet sales registered a 20 percent growth, both compared to the same period of 2012.

According to MMK Metalurji, the company's color coated steel sheet exports in September improved by 80 percent compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Meanwhile, MMK Metalurji has not produced crude steel since November 2012 due to its idled smelting capacities.
