Tosyali obtains CE certificate for merchant bar products

Turkish mill Tosyali Steel and Iron Industry was awarded a CE (Community Europe) certificate for its merchant bar products as of August 31, 2006. CE Marking certificate is required from September 1, 2006 if a merchant bar manufacturer wants to sell to the 25 EU and 3 EFTA member states. CE Marking on a product is a manufacturer's declaration that the product complies with the essential requirements of the relevant European health, safety and environmental protection legislation.
