TMK licenses TMK FMC premium technology to China’s BHXM

The Russian pipemaker TMK has announced that the company has signed an agreement to license TMK FMC premium connection technology to Chinese tubular producer Beijing Huayou Xingye Materials Co. (BHXM).

Under the license agreement, BHXM will produce 20,000 mt of TMK FMC premium casing connections per year, to be supplied to Chinese and CIS oil and gas markets.

The licensing agreement in question marks TMK's first technology licensing outside Russia.
