Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has announced that it has supplied Severneftegazprom, a subsidiary of Russian gas company Gazprom, with premium threaded casing pipes to be used for the Yuzhno-Russkoye oil and gas field.

The shipments, carried out by TMK Premium Service, included premium threaded TMK GF casing of 244.46 mm diameter, 8.94 mm and 11.99 mm wall thickness, and of J55 and Q125 grades.

Accordingly, Q125 grade casing was manufactured by TMK for the first time. Products of this strength grade have high performance properties, achieved by heat treatment, and can withstand high transverse and tensile loads and operate at high pressure.

In the summer of 2010, TMK Premium Service plans to supply Q125 grade premium threaded casing to Belarus' state-owned oil company Belorusneft.
