TMK commences shipment of LD pipes for Pochinki-Gryazovets pipeline

The Russian pipemaker TMK Group (TMK) has announced the beginning of shipments of K60 grade large diameter (LD) ERW 1,420 mm pipes with 15.7-18.7 mm wall thickness for the construction of Gazprom's Pochinki-Gryazovets pipeline. The pipes in question are designed for operating pressures of up to 75 atmospheres and also have external anti-corrosive coatings.

By September 2008, TMK will supply 40,000 mt of the pipes in question for this Gazprom project.

The pipes are produced by TMK's subsidiary Volzhsky Pipe Plant.
