On August 23, China's Shanxi Province-based Taiyuan Iron & Steel (Group) Co., Ltd. (TISCO) announced its September ex-factory price for medium plate.
The ex-factory price of medium plate increased RMB 150/mt ($20/mt). After adjustment, the new price of 14-20 mm thick Q235 medium plate is RMB 3,700/mt ($488/mt) including 17 percent VAT.
The new prices are effective as of August 23, 2007.
