TISCO targets to double its production

According to recent news in the market, Indian steel producer Tata Iron and Steel Corp (TISCO) plans to increase its production capacity by two fold by 2007. The current annual production capacity of the mill is 4 million tons. According to the plans, this rate will reach up to 8 million tons per annum by year 2007. The increase is in production is planned to be achieved through investments that will be made in both domestic region and overseas countries.
