TISCO plans to produce 11.2 million mt of crude steel in 2014

Shanxi Province-based Chinese steelmaker Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group Co. (TISCO) has announced that in 2014 it plans to produce 11.20 million mt of crude steel including 4 million mt of stainless steel, while it is targeting an operating revenue of RMB 150 billion ($24.6 billion) and a net profit of RMB 1 billion ($163.9 million) for the year.
 
As previously reported by SteelOrbis, in 2013 TISCO produced 9.98 million mt of crude steel including 3.22 million mt of stainless steel. Meanwhile, TISCO achieved an operating revenue of RMB 146 billion and a net profit of RMB 500 million ($82 million) in the given year.
